- CLARITY of the U.S. Clarity is unlike any other. Most commercial “watermark fluids” are toxic, flammable, or contain hazardous materials that are only marginally safer than the traditional solvents (such as lighter fluid and benzene) they replaced. Clarity was developed at the request of the American Philatelic Society (APS) for an improved watermarking fluid that is safe to use with philatelic materials. Clarity combines superb optical resolution with a moderate evaporation rate in a solvent free, non-hazardous formulation.
- WATERMARK TRAY: Place stamp face down in tray and completely cover with watermark fluid. If there is a watermark, it will stand out against the black background.
